Taylor Downs, founder of Saskuatch Customs, is originally from Alaska and brings over 15 years of experience in design, branding, and marketing.
What began as a small retail concept featuring our own performance gear quickly evolved as other businesses began requesting custom products and creative support. As demand grew, so did the vision.
Founded in 2022 in the Texas Hill Country, Saskuatch Customs has grown into a full-time design studio specializing in branding, website development, and high-quality custom merchandise for businesses across the country.

Saskuatch Customs was founded from a passion for performance, lifestyle, and the outdoors. Originally launched in 2022 as Saskuatch Outfitters—a retail location in downtown New Braunfels, Texas—the brand quickly grew into more than just a storefront.
What began as a small retail concept featuring our own performance gear quickly evolved as other brands began requesting custom products and creative support.
As demand grew, so did the vision. Today, Saskuatch Customs operates as a full-time design studio specializing in branding, website development, and high-quality custom merchandise for businesses across the country.

Our hats are never premade or pulled from stock. Every hat we produce is built from scratch, from the individual panels to the stitching and final design details. Saskuatch Customs works with brands nationwide, offering professional design, premium manufacturing, and fully custom products built to elevate businesses far beyond standard merch. If you’re looking for very small quantities or quick local turnaround, we’re always happy to refer you to some of our trusted local partners who specialize in lower minimum orders.
